Longhorn Basketball: Sandhills-Thedford and Arthur

On January 19, 2012, the Longhorn Basketball team traveled to Thedford to joust the Knights. The Knights set the tone of the night, because at half time they were dominating. The Longhorns made an admiral effort, but they could not take home the win: 18-81. Gunnar Johnson was leading scorer, with a total of seven points. Hyannis Vs Cody Kilgore - Sandhills Conference

On January 23 the Lady Longhorns went to Stapleton, where they met Cody-Kilgore in the first round of the Sandhills conference. The Lady Longhorns were ready to play against the cowgirls, and the score at halftime was 20-21. They had a great chance to win this game, but unfortunately the Lady Longhorns didn’t do that well on their offensive play in second half of the game.
